The highest-ranked candidates in the pool will receive invitations to apply for permanent residence. The Express Entry process is structured with specific timelines:
Profile Validity: An Express Entry profile remains valid for up to one year. This allows candidates ample time to be selected from the pool and receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
Application Processing: Once a candidate receives an ITA, the Canadian government aims to process their application for permanent residence within six months. This six-month period starts when a complete application is submitted and ends once a decision is made.
Resubmission: If a candidate does not receive an ITA within the one-year validity of their profile, they may re-submit their profile if they continue to meet the eligibility requirements. This re-submission can extend their chances of receiving an ITA.
